At The Brick, summer is a time for adventure, fun and friends at our awesome Summer Camps! 

The Brick’s Summer Camps have been a part of this community since 2011.  We look forward to 2019 – our 9th year offering camps to our community! Our formula for camps is simple: a fun and fast paced schedule + a caring, family environment + expectations of good behavior + confidence building activities = ONE AMAZING SUMMER EXPERIENCE!

2019 Camp Dates & Themes:

Week 1: May 28-31 – Ignite the Summer – Let’s start this summer off with a bang! We are going to begin the adventure with camp favorites from the past. Think gaga, dojo dodgeball, capture the flag, and so much more! Don’t miss your chance to start the summer off with us.

Week 2: June 3-7 – Super Hero Squad – This week will be spent becoming super heroes from all the favorite comic book movies. There will be one special day dedicated to our first responders such as the police, firefighters, and paramedics. Our own hometown heroes. Friday will be dress up day as the campers favorite heroes!

Week 3: June 10-14 – A Week at Hogwarts – We will step onto Platform 9 & 3/4 to travel on the Hogwarts Express! Destination: Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! Campers will be sorted into houses to compete for the House Cup, which will be awarded on Friday.

Week 4: June 17-21 – The Mighty Jungle – It’s time to get a little messy! This camp was such a hit last year, we decided to bring it back for some more fun. Campers will be put into one of the three teams (colors) to compete in different colorful, creative, and messy challenges all week. Friday will be the messiest day of all!

Week 5: June 24-28 – Color Wars – It’s time to get a little messy! This camp was such a hit last year, we decided to bring it back for some more fun. Campers will be put into one of the three teams (colors) to compete in different colorful, creative, and messy challenges all week. Friday will be the messiest day of all!

Week 6: July 1-5 – Team USA (no camp on the 4th) – It’s Fourth of July Week and we will spend it being showing our patriotism of the red, white, and blue! Campers will do Olympic style competitions to earn points towards a gold, silver, or bronze, medal. The medal ceremony will be held that Friday!

Week 7: July 8-12 – World of Wonder – Want to explore a new world of imagination? Us too! So let’s spend this week using our brains to create new crafts, games, and so much more! Come and jump into the World of Wonder with us!

Week 8: July 15-19 – Crazy Science – This is no ordinary science camp. We found an INSANE scientist who has come crazy experiments to try. He gave us his experiment book so that we could try his experiments with you! Slime, volcanoes, exploding bottles, and so much more! Let’s get crazy!

Week 9: July 22-26 – Medieval Times – Here ye! Here ye! Hence forth, this place will be called Castle Brick and all whom enter here will be named as Knights and Ladies of the Brick. Only enter here if ye want to defend the castle! We will have jousting, castle dodgeball, and each day we will name a new King and Queen to rule over us. Come and be the bravest of our castle!

Week 10: July 29-August 2 – Wheel of Mystery – Spin the Wheel of Mystery and see what it is we’ll do that day! Every day is a mystery, so you have to be prepared for ANYTHING. Will it be action packed, messy, mysterious, funny… you won’t know until the wheel spins!

WHAT IS THE DAY LIKE?

  • Camp drop-off begins at 8:00 AM (NO EARLIER!!) and all campers must be picked up by 4:30 PM, unless they are in After Camp Care.

  • After Camp Care is available each day from 4:30-6:00 PM for $5 per camper, per day  (FULL SUMMER campers get a discount if they pay ahead of time, please let us know at registration if you are interested).

  • Kids are divided into age-appropriate groups and they will rotate with their group through different fun activies – games, crafts, field trips, etc.

  • Kids have time for lunch and two snacks each day. You must pack their lunch and snacks (or send $$ for the snack packs or snack machine)

  • They will have ample access to water and the restroom.

  • OUR DAYS ARE FULL OF PLAY, LEARNING, FUN AND FRIENDS!

WHAT TO BRING?

  1. A GREAT ATTITUDE!!!

  2. Sunscreen​ already on your face and arms.

  3. Change of clothes (full summer campers may keep theirs at The Brick all summer)

  4. Water Bottle (labeled with name) – VERY IMPORTANT!!!

  5. A packed lunch and 2 snacks.

  6. Loose fitting and comfortable clothing.

  7. Sneakers are REQUIRED – know how to tie your shoes! if you don’t, you must have velcro or slip on sneakers. Bring a pair of sandals, slides or flip-flops every day to use for mat play.

  8. Personal electronics FOR DESIGNATED DAYS/TIMES ONLY, otherwise they will be put away.

  9. Extra items as needed (NERF guns, water guns, swim suit, towel, etc. – we will let you know ahead of time)

  10. We will handle the rest!!  (Wow, this is easy!)

Camp Registration Details & Payment Policies

We offer three ways to camp: Full Summer (9-10 weeks),  Partial Summer (8 weeks or less), or Drop-in (must be registered ahead of time for drop-in dates).

Camps are open to kids ages 5-12 as of the first day they attend camp. **NO EXCEPTIONS**

BEFORE YOU REGISTER, PLEASE READ THE PAYMENT POLICIES IN FULL BELOW. Regular camp prices are $189 per week, so don’t let our early bird prices pass you by!

Full Summer Registration Fees (9-10 weeks):

***FULL***SUPER EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION – $1000 FOR THE FULL SUMMER (9-10 weeks)! – Requires a $100 deposit per child – 0 SPOTS LEFT at this price!!! Includes one FREE program in martial arts or tumbling. $890 savings!*

***GOING ON NOW*** EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION – $1200 for the FULL SUMMER – Requires a $100 deposit per child – 17 SPOTS LEFT at this price. Includes one FREE program in martial arts or tumbling. $690 savings!*

***NOT STARTED YET*** REGULAR REGISTRATION- $1400 for the FULL SUMMER – Requires a $100 deposit per child – Includes one FREE program in martial arts or tumbling. $490 savings!*

1 Week: $189

Drop-In Info & Fees (1-2 days per week):

We are currently enrolling for Daily Drop-ins. You must pay your first day deposit in order to register as a drop-in. We can’t take drop-ins on the day of camp. We require 24 hour notice. You may pay your drop-in fees weekly; a debit or credit card must be on file to be a drop-in.

Drop-in Fee Fee: $59 per day, -$5 each additional child on the same day. Drop-in is limited to 2 days in the same week.

Read our Registration/Payment Policies in full before you register. Failure to read these policies does not prevent you from having to follow them.

BRICK SUMMER CAMP REGISTRATION & PAYMENT POLICIES

**Please read IN FULL before enrolling your child in our summer camp program**

We do our best to provide affordable pricing and a flexible payment plan. Please take advantage of the payment plan so that you are not left with a full camp bill by the final due date.

REGISTRATION

In order to register your child in our summer camps, you must click the registration link, fill out all required information, and pay the registration fee or deposit.

  • All Full Summer registrations require a non-refundable deposit per family. This fee is not applied to your total camp bill. You will then be billed in increments automatically.

  • All Partial Summer registrations require a non-refundable deposit of one full week per child, applied toward your total camp bill. You will then be billed in increments automatically.

  • All Drop-in registrations require a non-refundable deposit of one day payment per child, applied to your total camp bill. You will then be charged on a weekly basis according to how many days you attend each week.

LATE PAYMENT

  • Returned payments must be paid within seven (7) days or a late fee of $15.00 per week will be assessed until account is brought current.

  • If your camp payments are not current by the first day of summer camp, we reserve the right to cancel your child’s registration. You will still be responsible for the full camp bill.

  • We do everything we can to work with our families on payment plans. If you run into financial issues, or have a unique situation, please contact use immediately.

WITHDRAWAL, CANCELLATION, REFUNDS

  • All early bird discounted camp registrations have a “no-cancel” policy. You are obligated to the fee regardless of attendance. All registration fees (for full summer camps) and deposits (for partial summer or drop-ins) are non-refundable.

  • All payments made towards any camps are non-refundable.

  • Withdrawal or cancellation due to moving or a major medical emergency will be handled on a case by case basis. Refunds/cancellations are not promised in these cases.

***No allowance will be made or deductions provided for absences, sickness, holidays or vacations. Directors reserve the right to deny, cancel, or suspend a camper’s enrollment if it is in the best interest of the camp, camper or others attending camp. In these cases, no fees will be refunded for any reason. Golden Isles Martial Arts Academy, d/b/a The Brick, reserves the right to change or alter all policies, rules, and regulations at any time***
